The Black and Decker CM1836 model
features an 18" cutting width and a
36V rechargeable sealed lead acid
battery.
The battery on this cordless
electric mower can be 100%
fully recharged in 12 hours (we'd
buy a spare battery as they add so
much flexibility to this or other
new electric battery powered
mowers). The battery that comes with
this mower gets back about 60% of
its total charge in the first 6
hours.
Some of the features that stand out
on this tested model were the (1)
The handle folds down nicely making
for easy compact storage, (2) the
rear bag has what they call a lift
through design which allows you to
get the bag on and off much easier
than any other model, (3) one touch
height adjuster for mowing heights
(4) instant key start which sure
beats yanking a cord on a gas mower
over and over. (5) 3 in 1 mowing -
mulch, discharge, rear bagging
mowing options.
This Black and Decker CM1836 battery
powered electric mower is good for
properties up to about 1 1/3 acres.
Things that will affect how much
space you can mow with an electric
mower include how deep the grass is,
if the grass is wet when you mow,
