Turn the MTD Yard Machines 4-1/2-horsepower chipping machine loose on a pile
of leaves, rotten apples, or limbs, and it quickly reduces
it all to 1/8th the original volume. As a yard vacuum, this

vacuum cuts a 22 inch path across the lawn,
sucking up leaves, twigs, trash, and much more! This is a
very easy to use chipper shredder
vacuum!
A dedicated chipper-mode and chute make it easy to dispose
of larger debris, chomping materials up to 1-1/2 inches in
girth, and blowing the remnants into a handy catch bag. The
two-bushel, nylon mesh catch bag quickly and easily attaches
to the machine, and holds just enough material for easy
disposal.
Fingertip-activated height adjustment from 3/8 to 4 inches
makes it easy to adjust the blade height to a wide variety
of cleanup tasks. The chipper shredder mechanism features a
three-way feed that can be used as either a dedicated
chipper chute for stuffing branches in at an angle, a
drop-down rake-in chute for raking it in, or, as a drop-in
hopper for vertical, gravity-fed chipping.
